I am always thrilled to see women running businesses offering personal care and wellness services and products catered to women.  The feminine care subscription service, Rock Your Month (R.Y.M.), is one such company.  R.Y.M subscribers receive their pads, tampons, and other period essentials of their choice in a monthly subscription box while saying 'goodbye' to those runs to the store for these items. Sounds like peace of mind, to me! In addition to providing this unique subscription service, the company is outspoken about the importance of having public discourse about menstrual cycles and the personal care needs of women. R.Y.M has taken this cause further with a commitment to community service that includes donating feminine care products to shelters for women and children among other initiatives.  Rock Your Month is, without a doubt, a company that you should know about. Intro
I'm JaBett Glenn, mother of four, 15 year service member, and founder of Rock Your Month LLC based in Detroit, MI. As an online subscription source for feminine hygienic care, R.Y.M. was born with the concept of convenience and accessibility. Rooted in the heart of the city, Rock Your Month uses proceeds from purchases to bring feminine hygienic care to women and girls in need throughout local communities. Long-term, R.Y.M. aims to provide awareness & empowerment to women all over the world through hygienic educational programs and distribution partnerships with support shelters, veteran programs, and single father resource centers nationwide.

Inspired by 
As a service member, frequent deployments made me aware of the importance of accessibility and convenience in obtaining feminine care, and a heart to serve brought on the need for community support. R.Y.M. originally launched in 2018 with a full online launch in June 2020.

Proud Accomplishments  
Our greatest accomplishment to date has come in the opportunity to serve. We launched our first nationwide Period Product Drive in October 2020 and we were able to support over 120 women, girls, and female veterans in the Detroit community. We also had the opportunity to donate over 1,000 period products to the Detroit Genesis House and partner with Black Mothers Breast Feeding Association in Detroit, MI providing R.Y.M. boxes to low income families in support of women empowerment and community development.

What’s next for Rock Your Month?
Rock Your Month looks to further branding in 2021 with exclusive promotional offers, rockin' contests, and video/blog development to keep our awesome R.Y.M. family in the know. On the community development side, our next project includes partnerships with local educational programs to bring proper hygienic awareness and period knowledge to grade school students in and around the Metro-Detroit area.
