What’s Christmas without a few live performances? I love ballet and theater, and wish that I had more opportunities to enjoy the arts. It’s one of the things that I make sure to fit in during the holidays. I can recall participating in a production of the Nutcracker while in middle school, and I fell in love with it. Over the years, I have witnessed many, many renditions of the Nutcracker and it never gets old.
This year I am planning to see two versions of this legendary ballet!

The Color Purple is my favorite movie of all time. I was so excited at the idea of it being transformed into a Broadway play. I really, really want to see it. All I want for Christmas is three tickets (for the kiddos and me) to the Broadway play. Here’s the current cast:
